Root {ROM} Singularity for Samsung Conquer (available now)

Rom is booting nicely and just needs some minor adjustments on the theme and tweeks added...should be done very soon.
 
Yaay. Finally Something is being done for this phone. Thank You So Much. Can't wait to test Rom. :)





By the way there's people working on Cm7, the development has been going really slow since we don't have many developers, they have been work for about 3 months and we still don't have the Rom booting. It would be Awesome if you guys could help with that project.

its actually about 95% ready...just needed to test it. If all is well for testing then we will release Singularity and AlienWareZ! .....so you get 2 roms out of the gate....cool?
 
it appears I had a dyslexia moment and loaded the wrong version to media fire...my bad...I will fix... I will try to get the AlienWareZ! out today or tomorrow. I will look into the joy version..shouldn't be hard to port that.

Anyway we can get a little better descriptions of each when you guys have some time?

Also, would you guys mind finding out if any of these kernels have Loop Device support?
I think even the stock might, because their are loop0 - loop7 (8 loop files) in the dev/block folder, but I am not entirely sure it supports it or not.
I mean, the kernel indeed would support it, I am just not sure whether your ROMS or the stock ROM ever implemented the support.

even in the slightest we could mount an .img/.iso using
busybox mount -O image.img /path/to/dir

So if none support Loop Devices, any way you guys could make a loop device patch? and I will just build a custom kernel myself with it. OR you guys implement it in one or all of the ROMS? It couldn't hurt, only help.

Also this is the FC17 firmware update correct? Not FE16.
Either way, you guys wouldnt happen to have the FE16 Odin image would you?

Thanks for the wicked ROMS, the work, the time, and everything else! Keep it up! People are going to flock here. Not many know right now. But I know there are a ton of people working on ROMs for this device right now, and a whole ton more asking for them.

cant you get wireless tether from app market if your rooted it should work. I cant test it cause im not rooted. im waiting for a little more something before i root again like some cm7 or joyOS. let us know if it works. To me its really not a hack others would say it is. If your using your own data connection then thats fine its not like your changing your bandwidth to ultra xmb per second it has nothing to do with re-configuring sprints server settings which then i can see a point where hey cough up some more bucks, but its just your phone programed to radiate its already paid for service.
 
I know. But I would like to use sprints app because tether apps are not infrastructure mode so some of my devices wont pick it up. Nd foxfi doesnt give strong connection. But the sprint app works perfect. I just dont want to pay 29.99 a month :) I kno many devices have a native hotspot. Was hoping to get it for this device.
