Vertical synchronization (Also vertical sync or VSYNC) separates the video fields. In PAL and NTSC, the vertical sync pulse occurs within the vertical blanking interval. The vertical sync pulses are made by prolonging the length of HSYNC pulses through almost the entire length of the scan line.
The vertical sync signal is a series of much longer pulses, indicating the start of a new field. The sync pulses occupy the whole of line interval of a number of lines at the beginning and end of a scan; no picture information is transmitted during vertical retrace. The pulse sequence is designed to allow horizontal sync to continue during vertical retrace; it also indicates whether each field represents even or odd lines in interlaced systems (depending on whether it begins at the start of a horizontal line, or mid-way through).
The format of such a signal in 525-line NTSC is:
pre-equalizing pulses (6 to start scanning odd lines, 5 to start scanning even lines)
long-sync pulses (5 pulses)
post-equalizing pulses (5 to start scanning odd lines, 4 to start scanning even lines)

Damn hell yeah this rom is honestly the best one I've ever messed with. Not only is this new HD audio codec one of the best things ever, but the phone now has the sense dialer, everything is clean as ****. Stock is beautiful, the nexus 7 boot animation is fantastic. The keyboard works better than mobsterz and the browser finally has the "home" and all other settings back. I'm sad it doesn't have hotspot though, tear....

How come I got 4g on v4 but now that I'm on this I don't get it? Is it possible to just do a copy and paste for the 4g settings from v4 and apply them here? It's not too much of a problem though. I can live with it as 4g is rare anyways but it's awesome when I had it on v4. Thanks nonetheless mobz you work really hard and I wish the best and thanks for continuing to support the Evo V! BTW the 3d playback works great! And I did the nexus 4 build prop and now gta 3 works! Sadly vice city still isn't working. Mobz you are incredible! Please don't stop the great work you do!

Did you do a full wipe? and if your S-ON you'll want to Fast boot Flash the Kernel

I'm embarrased to say that I don't know how to do this, and I'll kindly ask if anyone would like to show me how to do this and in return I will help others on the forum. I don't know anything about kernels all I know is how to install roms. Yes I am ashamed..

Open command prompt (cmd) from your adb/fastboot folder by holding shift, right-clicking, then selecting open command prompt here.

Put the boot.img into the same folder, then in the cmd enter "fastboot", then "fastboot flash boot boot.img"
 
I was about to flash the kernel when I believe I accidentally changed back the buildprop from the nexus 4 to the shooter and I might have misspelled something. I know this isn't serious but how can i modify the prop now. This is why I should back up stuff. nvm since I'm such a noob I just went recovery and reinstalled lol..

That's how vsync works, the setting in Kernel Tuner is mostly for benchmarking, with vsync enabled you're capped at 55 to 60 fps, when you disable it you're limited by the chipset.

the rom should include the appropriate build.prop as it goes in /system/
 
I would love to try this ROM but I've tried to install it a bunch of times and always get the same error with the android falling down dead. I've tried wiping everything, using a formatted SD card, everything and can't get it to install. Any suggestions would be great!

Finally a Rom for HBoot 1.57 rooted and unlocked potential

:D This Rom should be compatible with any hboot :)
 
Hey mobs is there any way to make the 4g tab under quick settings work when you long press it? Every other tab works except that one. It just says "unable to start activity."
