i tried to do it, but i have windows and i installed the drivers but it doesnt come up

I was about to throw my computer out the window when I rooted. I couldn't get unrevoked to recognize that my phone was connected to the computer and set to USB debugging.

Then, just for S&G I looked in my device manager again and it was back to looking like it did before I installed the drivers with my phone in HBOOT. So I reinstalled them with the phone fully powered up and connected and it worked like a charm.

Try that?

Did you read and follow EVERY direction?

Did you make sure to uninstall EVERY HTC Sync you installed on your computer?

I know it sounds silly, but go back and follow every instruction to a T.
