Root Roted Indulge. Is electric sheep necessary(big difference?)and apps2SD

2 things. what are the pros of using electric sheep kernal, i have 1.64GB free on my internal phone memory and 14 of a 16GB card free. im running basix r910 on metro pcs. second, will apps2SD work for my indulge? i would like to move as much as possible to my SD card to take full advantage of all its space. my phone runs pretty quick, right now the only complaint i have is the 5 hour battery life with heavy words for friend and facebook use. thanks peeps.....

You don't need Apps2SD, that functionality is already available in our ROM. Simply to to Settings -> Manage applications. Find the App you want to move to the SD card and tap "Move to SD". Some apps cannot be moved, but most can.

In my experience, the Electric Sheep kernel increased my battery life and when combined with setting the "smartass" scaling, vastly improved my performance. I recommend the upgrade.

No. You could just download the zip on your sd card, reboot into recovery, and update from there.
No computer needed.
