Saving MMS issue.

So i got this problem i haven't been able to find heads or tails in, some pointer would be appreciated as to why this is happening.

I recently stopped using any other sms app, other than the stock, i had VR12 before, now Froydvillain 1.5 and everytime i want to save a picture from a MMS i recieve, i get the following error

"Copying attachment to SD card failed!"

Anyone have any idea what's going on ? Other than a previous mms carrier issue i had, this is the only issue i've had with this rom.

MMS isn't my area, but I may as well ask the obvious question :P

You do have space on the SD card, right?

Possibly.. :P

8 gb class 6 SDHC card, i think there should be room enough ;P also formatted it when i installed Froyd, hehe

While we're here.. maybe you could help me clear up a few oddities for me.

One of the reasons why i wanted to get FroydVillain was to avoid the whole hassle of messing with Apps2SD, sometimes late last night i read somewhere that you still need to partition the SD card, and it's still included ?

The problem seems evident when i wanna get the most free space out of the phone storage, i've set it to automatically stick apps on the external, but everytime i reboot the phone, it defaults to the Vlingo keyboard which i really dislike, or the Android one, which doesn't have my language (I've been using SlideIT for ages!) so i have to go into the settings and actually re-enable it, before i can select it as an input method.

What's wrong here apart from the MMS issue and this? i'm thinking i've gotta re-flash 1.5 and setup the Apps2SD partition, Also Apps2SD works as a virtual storage extension to the phones internal memory right ?

Apologies for the novel, but some help and clarity would be appreciated, couldn't find a specifics newbie guide to installing the rom to make sure :)

FYI, my phones 'history' started with standard 1.6, then put VillainROM 5.4 on it, later upgraded to VR12, and now Froyd1.5
