I have T-Mobile version aka D500 and I have a few questions for the people in this thread:

As a background, I have rooted my phone and upgraded it to D50010h (which I think is MetroPCS 12b equivalent). I have also installed xposed framework and gravity box.

1. I enabled the "Circle with percentage" battery indicator, but when my battery discharges the circle decreases counter-clockwise and as silly as it sounds, it's driving me nuts. In the photos that I see over here, some people have indicator that discharges clockwise. How I do the same? How do I get my circle battery indicator to discharge clockwise?

2. The default status bar color on D500 is gray, I want to make it black (I do not want it to be transparent). I see the setting in the Gravity Box, but any time I have some sort of notification the color reverts to default gray. Anything I can do about that?

3. Any time I get sms message, I get annoying "bubble point" pop ups in addition to the indicator in the status bar. I have switched to using 8sms for my messaging app and I have disabled notifications in the default stock messaging app, but I still get those stupid notifications. How can I disable them?

4. What stock apps are safe to remove? Is it safe to remove default messaging app for example since I'm using 8sms anyway? Is it safe to remove stock calendar since I'm using google calendar anyway?

5. I really miss cyanogenmod News & Weather and Alarm apps. Any way to get those on D500? I have a few other cyanogenmod devices, is it as simple as extracting APK's from CM devices and installing those on D500?

6. Is there any way to replace default dialing app on the D500 with something black?

7. Is there any way to remove the stupid QSlide Quick Settings and QSlide Apps from the pull down menu? They're taking half the pull down screen and are totally unnecessary. EDIT figured out a way to remove QSlide Apps, no dice for QSlide Quick Settings, but I can live with that.



ROFL, that's a lot more questions than I originally anticipated. How about we make this thread a "how to mod your phone" thread?

For #3 theres a settings menu within the sms app.
Just tap on menu hit settings. Go into "notification" and then turn off "new message pop up"!! And for #'s 1,2 & 6 can be fixed easily by flashing the xperion rom.

I had those same problems and that rom fixed everything and got rid of all the bloatware as well.

It was my impression that Xperion ROM was only for MetroPCS version and that GameTheory did not advise flashing it on T-Mobile version?

EDIT: did some more googling, looks like it works on T-Mobile version after all.
