Every couple days I use an alcohol pad (like you find at walgreens) and scrub the entire front of my phone, followed by a good wipe down with a very fine microfiber towel. Looks pristine every time.

I use eyeglass cleaner (anything safe for plastic lenses ought to be fine for the outside of a phone) and a microfiber cloth with mine, or sometimes just the cloth. I do it every time I clean the screen protector (using the same stuff) and never have a problem with spontaneous screen movement.
If you use liquid, put a small amount on the cloth, not directly on your phone.
