Since updating to 4.010.13 my GPS is working pretty well. It was unusable before. I actually get a signal inside the house now, it did take about 20 minutes the first time I connected to get a lock. After that I am getting a lock in about 30-40 seconds. It is not perfect, but it is (at least for me) working well.
I am using Google Maps, c:geo, and GPS Test (so I can see satellites.)
