Help sensation coming 2 orange uk?

You and me both, but i've got a list to choose from for my next upgrade, and i can't decide what to get. I've just posted a seperate thread in the android lounge, so maybe someone can help me decide.

Hi all just received a phone call from orange customer services about an e-mail I sent asking when the sensation would be released. I'm disappointed to say I was told that it is not on the coming soon list. This means it is not going to be available for at least 6 weeks. That is the time limit I was told, but they said it me be available from the CPW or similar. They said the main phone for them at the moment was the ATRIX.:(
 
Vodafone have an exclusive on the Sensation for a month iirc, so early adopters will either have to go with them, buy off-contract, or upgrade via resellers such as CPW, P4U etc.

I think (that on videos) it's is said to be "at least a month"

Apologies for not understanding the mobile market, but do you mean to suggest that resellers will be stocking the phone before carriers?
 
yes, I think he means that. Like at the moment, T-mobile don't have the GSII, but I can go and buy it from CPW, or Phones4U on a t-mobile contract. It may just be more expensive to buy it off resellers.

I was in CPW at the weekend and they had no knowledge of the Sensation (could have been just that branch though). From that I summised that you can only get it from Vodafone until the end (ish) of June.

BuyMobilePhones.net are usually very good. You could also look on SimplyElectronics.net as they are good too :)
 
I'm gonna be patient and wait for it Orange, I love the look of this phone, I hope its out in June but have a feeling its not gonna b available till July/august!

yeah. exclusivity is a pain. Think it was said that it'll be exclusive for at least a month on vodafone.
 
It is indeed but I get a good deal with orange so don't wanna go else where. Such a pain to have to wait, but I will do so.

I know the feeling, it's the same for me but with T-mobile and the GSII. But with t-mobile EVERYONE else has it, apart from them! :/
 
I just phoned orange who said they are not getting the sensation. Grrrrrr, so I asked how far in advance new phones show on there system and the guy told me that the system is showing phones available till July! I'm not a happy bunny now!

Just how long are you willing to wait. I just pray T-mobile haven't put June on their website when they mean "1st delivery of (something stupid like 10 phones) in july"
 
You can order it on Orange contracts through various resellers. I know buymobilephones are doing orange contracts, and were expecting a delivery today.
