Share your funny off the wall text spell-correct fails.

I'll go first...


a friend of mine sent me a text the other day trying to find out if I wanted to play call of duty with him when I got home from work. The text should've read "Wanna play? I got hella better." What I received, however, was "Wanna play. I hot. Hepatitis better."

My daughter and I went through the following text thread:

Daughter: Are we going to Greg's game?

Me: I'd like too, you?

Daughter: I defiantly would like to go.

The miss-spell wasn't that funny. What was funny was me trying to determine whether my 13 yo daughter meant definitely or defiantly. At her age both work!!

I don't have any specific ones, but I love to do speak to text and just send what ever is on the screen to my wife. It drives her nuts.

whenever I put 'wtf!', it changes it to Witt, which I guess it's getting from a last name in my contact list. I can't tell you how many times I've texted 'Witt!' to people. I always get a '?' back... LOL

I typed "Gn (goodnight), I love you" to the girlfriend and she got "Gene, I love you". She sends one back "Who the **** is Gene!?"

That made for a great convo...

haha Yeah, that reminds me... every time i type "lol" and send, I'll get a "wtf" back, so I look... The message I sent is "lollipop".

When using the voice to text I have gotten some funny results. One time I was saying "Dude I'm driving I can't text right now" and I got "Gene I'm crying I can't sex right now".

My latest Google voicemail transcription-

"Hey at. I was it. I'm just trying to make a separate working and Victor online and alright hispanic."

They're usually off, but I can discern what they're talking about. This however left me scratching my head.

Doesn't help that my bud is hispanic!

*HINT*
After typing a word the Droid doesn't know, save the word by long pressing it.
My friend is now by bro, not my brown!
Also works great for names that aren't in your contact list!

Swype "confirm" you get "condom", I don't remember the context, but luckily it was to a buddy that also has a Droid with swype, so he knew it was the phone.

I absolutely hate text to speech shorting what I say! If I say
"I'm going to be busy later, see you tonight though"

I get something like

"I'm going 2 b busy later, c u tonight though" It ticks me off.

I don't remember exactly what I was trying to say, But I was stuck in traffic not to long ago, And I wanted to tell the people I was on my way to meet I was going to be late, So I used the voice option to text for the first time and said something like "Traffic is a complete standstill, running late".. And it somehow translated it into
"traffic is a stranger, Obama stinks" I remember reading it and laughing so hard and the people in the other lanes looking at me funny..

I agree! I don't talk like a pre-teen, not even when I'm texting, and I hate that the Text to speech does that..

My fiance made me & my friend dinner and dropped it off to us. I was trying to text him to tell him how much we liked it. Instead, we "Poodled" it. I wasn't aware "poodled" was a word...

I was talking to a friend on AIM, he was using his Droid with Swype and I mentioned how he was making a lot of errors and he said he preferred speed to accuracy, about 2 minutes later I get these IMs:

him: wow
him: I retract my statement
me: huh?
him: I just sent the im "playing with weenie" instead of playing with ernie...my cat

Even though it wasn't to me I laughed my ass off when he told me that. It helps that it was a response to his gf when she asked him what he was doing, lol.

I was in a txt conversation with a fellow droid friend and I meant to say "FYI learning this soft keyboard more" came out as "Dying learning this soft keyboard more."

I'm a building admin where I work, and was asking to see a staff member. I sent an email to my secretary using swype...

meaning to say
"Send me Jasmine"

What was sent:
Send me Lesbains.


The problem was that my secretary sent me Jasmine anyway. geeeze.
I'm glad confidentiality is my secretary's forte. LOL

My phone likes replacing "thing" with "thong".

So, while talking to this girl iv known for a long time now, (good thing she wasnt somebody I just met. lol) I should have said "I like the thing you had on today" but what was sent was "I like the thong you had on today".

My epic auto correct fail actually occurred when I owned a Blackberry Storm. I was using the Suretype keyboard.
The setup:
I lost my job and found another one 300 miles away. I moved and left my wife and 2 kids at home until I could find us a place and we could sell our house. I hadn't seen my family in 2 weeks.
My wife sent me a text saying " I miss you"
I tried to send a simple reply:
" I miss you guys "

My Blackberry decided to send:
" I miss your tits "

Thanks Blackberry. Now you know why I own a Droid!

He kept on hounding me send me a pic text send BEWARE BITCH and it went to my entire contact list. Even went to my Pastor you would not believe the amount of return text I got I'm still appologising for it
