Help Silent Call Issue

Well of all the things to miss about the Eris, this was NOT one of them!

That's right people, I just got hit with the "Silent/No Sound" bug on the Incredible!

Those of you not familiar, some (not all) Eris's running 2.1 would randomly/sporadically just lose the ability to make and receive calls because all call volume would cease to exist.

The long and short of it is it happens at random, there does not appear to be any specific trigger and the only way to fix it is to restart your phone.

Both!

All "call sounds" stop working:

-You can't hear it ring in the earpiece dialing out
-You can't hear the person on the other end and they can't hear you
-There are no tones when dialing
-Neither the speaker or earpiece work.

Yeah, that's why I'm on here now to trouble shoot that issue that just started happening today. The speaker works, it's the mic that is giving me problems.

Using the phone Mic does NOT work.
Turn it on speaker phone Mic works.
Use wired headset works fine. (I know different mic)
Just started happening this afternoon.

Powered off and on...problem not solved.

Powered off, removed battery for 30 sec and now it's working again.

Yup, this problem really sucks. I hope that HTC or whoever will address this.
