Slow Home Screen Transitions!

Hey guys, I recently updated my SGS2 bought from Malaysia from version 2.3.3 to :

Android: 2.3.6
Baseband: DXKL1
Kernel: DXKL3
Build: DXKL3

Previously I had 3 home screens which were silky smooth. One of my homescreens included 4 picture frames which had over 50 pictures which rotated. Even with this there was ZERO lag.

However, I now realize after the update, I am unable to scroll in between homescreens smoothly! The systems power saver setting is switched off. I now have removed the picture frames (thinking that was the problem of the lag) but it doesn't seem to be solving the problem! Any help would be much appreciated guys. Thanks

this is a common problem with roms on 2.3.4 and above. usually it is due to the program monitor widget, i found once i had removed it i get the silky smooth transitions, but really it does not really bother me all too much. if its a problem perhaps install a 3rd party widget that does that same job?
