Root SM Updater Question

I understand that I'm not the brightest person out there. But my updater will not connect, it does not show in my downloads, and I can't find it in the market now. Any help would be great.

SM updater is now useless, since the old Sholes.info site is gone. The remaining crew is now DroidMod. Go here(from your phone):

DroidMod - Everything Droid doesn't, DroidMod does.

Scroll down and download the new DMupdater. Then uninstall the old SMupdater.

EDIT: Make sure you have unknown sources checked in Settings-Applications before trying to install it.

SholesMod Updater is now DroidMod Updater. Sholes is out of the market and website is down. You can find DroidMod at their website at DroidMod.org.

Don't worry, it wasn't a dumb question. Unless you're constantly following what's going on with the dev community I wouldn't expect people to know what happened with Sholes.

does it matter what rom i am currently running for this to work?

its basicly the same thing, just dounload the new DM Updater and upgrade to the new version thats 1.0
