UPDATE:
Preface... After this bugging me for a very long time I finally did more testing and came up with a MUCH easy way to do this.
Requirements:
Root
Titanium Backup
All Contacts Synced with Google
STEP1:
Go to accounts and uncheck any account that has synced contacts... For me it is only my main google account.
STEP2:
Delete all sms and mms from your sms/mms application.
STEP3.1:
Open titanium backup
STEP3.2:
Go to backup/restore tab
STEP3.3:
Scroll to and tap "Contacts New Storage 2.1-update1", Looks like a folder.
It is under "Contacts 2.1-update1" and above "Contacts Sync 2.1-update1"
STEP3.4:
Tap Wipe Data
STEP3.5:
Exit Titanium Backup
STEP4:
Reboot (personally i use quick boot)
STEP5:
Reverse Step1
Contact history is erased. So when you know you have important messages to clear and completely erase do this and they are gone.
