One of the new phones has "the button" for instant select sender then speech to text.

Is there an app that does the same for my Hero and will it speak my messages back to me. Sure would make my life easier.
You can put a direct text shortcut on your homescreen (this may be a LauncherPro thing), use the HTC keyboard for speech to text. When you receive a text, I know that Handcent offers the text-to-speech option to read the message to you.
