Sprint Stock Apps

Hi Everyone,

Is there anyway to remove Sprint's Stock apps on the Hero to free up memory. Ive only seen that rooting is the way to go but it seems too complicated. Is there a simple method? Thanks!!!
 
rooting really isn't all that complicated, just make sure you keep reading up on it before you do it. And that is the only way to remove the stock apps
 
there's a relatively easy way with Fresh's pre-kitchen, but I've never used it so I can't give advice on it. I also prefer people do it the hard way first, by entering the code, so they get a bit of an idea of what it takes to do the little bit of programming. That way, hopefully they'll be able to figure things out for themselves instead of coming here and asking the same questions over and over again.

Yeah, they caught it really early on but said they would be working on fixing it. It's not a dealbreaker so it'll happen eventually.
