I recently installed watchdog to keep an eye out of any run away apps and notice my stock video player starts itself randomly and runs in the background. At times watchdog alerts me that it's using 47% all the way up to 97% of CPU in the background while my phone is idle. I tried ending it manually from App Manager and it will go away for a while. Funny thing is I haven't even touch anything related to video players or music player or youtube. I even rebooted my phone and it still comes back at random times. Does anybody have this issue? I'm trying to track down battery draining apps.
Oh, I'm running latest stock ROM, rooted.
