Root super clean 0.4 DI01 ROM - voice mail button on dialer FC

Hi all,

I'm running Super Clean 0.4 on my DI01 Fascinate, love it, but just found a minor issue. When I go to my dialer screen (number pad) and hit the voice mail button on the bottom left, I get a FC.

This happened w/ Youtube via facebook links on this rom and I fixed it by doing a "clear defaults" on the application.

I've looked at Phone, Dialer480 and Dialer Storage in the app list, clear defaults is not accessible.

Anyone know what I need to do to fix this? Is there another dialer app I need to clear defaults on, or a voicemail app I'm not finding or something?

the dialer fc on voicemail is because jt stripped out verizon voicemail as an app from the rom...you have to manually dial *86 for vm.

you cant get it back with his rom unless its added back in...i forget if sonofskywalker3 has that as an option in rom manager or not...rm is being crappy as usual so i cant check :o
 
the FC is on com.sec.android.app.dialertab but I can't find that in the app list, assume it's a system process

Thanks! I think I did see a verizon VM app in the list when I was messing around with RM last night, will try that when RM feels like working for me.

Better option: use Google Voice and the edited dialer that goes to Google Voice when you hit that button. ;)
 
While I don't get FC and don't mind speed dialing or *86'ing to get to VM, it would be nice if there were a way to re-program the function of this button without installing GV (which I would never use anyway)

Anyone have any ideas?

(please note I'm on the stock DI01 ROM/kernel)

you would have to edit the dialertabactivity.apk with several xml edits
