Root Swapping Rom's

So I'm currently on the metro variant of the Stylo, running T-Mobiles MM but I want to switch to Metro's MM, while not loosing data, is it possible? I could make a data backup and restore it later but will it work? Has anyone done this?

Yes you can go to any firmware you choose. I think i have been through all versions on both hardware models.
the lg up method does keep track of your flashing history in a directory named LG Mobile on your pc. [erase]
The older flashing tool does have an option to clear the current firmware version on your device.
This comes in handy when over writing tmoble firmware used on metro devices. Twrp does allow
you the freedom to flash forward and backwards anyway you want. once you unlock the bootloader the device
is yours to keep.
