I have a hobby room with a 24" TV with a 1st gen Chromecast. Was thinking about getting a tablet as my media hub. Question is the price range goes from about $70 for a Poloroid tablet at Walmart into the 300's for a top of the line Samsung tablets. The entertainment hub would be mounted on the wall and wouldn't have any other use. Which way would be the best way to go? I don't want to spend more on my tablet then I did for my TV.
