    hey guys,
so i just downloaded pdanet and configured it to my laptop. i'm just concerned about security issues with it. with all the news lately about how cellphones are not very secure, i'm wondering how vulnerable would my laptop be if i tether it with me evo? i will be traveling and was planning on tethering when i can.

that's all up to your computer's Antivirus. The phone is only providing internet.

What you browse on the internet is what isn't secure

Your pc is being 'fed' a connection through your phone. There's an antivirus and firewall in between them, and your carrier network will have sophisticated hardware and software firewalls on their radio towers. No need to worry unless you go looking for trouble.
