Toggling 3G

Does anyone know of a way to toggle on/off 3G? There is no 3G in my area quite yet (hoorah for living in the sticks).

Since there is no need for me to have the phone searching for 3G if it's not available. I tried to switch it off, however I can't find the setting. Has it been removed from the Aria?

I've gotten Curvefish's 2G/3G toggle widget, but no luck for me.

Simple - Press the power button (hold it to bring up the panel where the shut-off is). You'll see a menu item (last one) for Mobile Network - this turn off the 3G. And, even better, it remains in that state if and when you turn off/on the phone so you don't need to keep repeating this.

Thanks Looks like that turns off all data transmissions, we still have edge. But we can always pop it on when needed to conserve battery.
