Installed Tranquility ROM this morning. Something weird is going on with my root though. I tried rrebooting into recovery and neither ROM Manager nor Koush's bootstrap would work. I opened terminal emulator and typed 'su' and got a permission denied. I have universalandroot, ran that and was told I HAVE root. Somebody please help.

I followed d0nku-san's instructions here:

Tranquility: A Blurless Droid X is within Reach

and it worked. Here's what it says:

adb shell
$ /system/xbin/su
# mount -t ext3 -o rw,remount /dev/block/mmcblk1p21 /system
# cp /system/xbin/su /system/bin/su
# chmod 4755 /system/bin/su
# sync
# mount -t ext3 -o ro,remount /dev/block/mmcblk1p21 /system
# exit
$ exit
