Help un-linking FB contacts from phone

hi all. im a newbie and i am having an issue with my contacts and its driving me MAD. Every time i go to call or compose a text, and i hit to select from contacts...ALL my FB contacts are on my phone as well. how do i get them out of there and only have my contacts to choose form. I already did the deleting and unsycing of contacts and they are still there. Any help would be appreciated

go to People, select the menu, press "View". From there you can "un-check" the accounts you want displayed.
