Root unrooting eris

I need 2 do an insurance claim on my rooted eris, haven't gotten any new ROMS yet just wondering if I did a hard factory reset if that would take it back 2 stock form... thank u 4 ne replies

Factory reset won't un-root it. You'll still have the su program, SuperUser app, and the custom recovery on it (that's your base root package).

Use this method / thread to un-root your Eris and return back to stock:
