Root Update with Official 2.2 ROM.

So I have the Froyo Leak (ROM, no radio) based off of the official 2.2 (I have the 2.05 radio). This is the ROM: [ROM] 8/26 Leak Lite w/ Sense - xda-developers

Is it okay for me to install the system update that Verizon keeps trying to push to my phone? If not, is there a way that I can turn the notification off?

I ask because I've been told that this ROM is based off of the actual 2.2, so that's why I was wondering if it would be okay; I don't really know everything about this kind of thing, sorry.

No, you cannot just accept the OTA, it will not work. The rom you are asking about is deodexed and has some bloatware removed.
