USB Mounting?

Soi just did the OTA update and im tryin to connect me Eris SD card to computer, i have USB Debug off, defualt connection type as Disk Drive, i see it pop up and notice it as Removeable Disk {G} but when i click on it my comp is saying Please insert a disk into drive G....my question is, i remember in 1.5 there was MOUNT in the bar up top, but i dont see that button anymore when i plug it into the USB, what do I do?

I think you have to have the usb debuggingt turned on for it to mount as a disk drive.

nvm, i actually have to restart the phone, now i get the USB icon up in the status bar
