Help usb-to-XP driver issue

I just got the Motorola Electrify M and tried to connect to my XP (sp3). Windows tries to find the driver for MTP but fails. The computer sees the external drive when USB computer connection in Settings is set to "mass storage", but fails when "media device (MTP)" is selected. "Camera (PTP)" works.

Anyone know of a compatible driver or alternative? I'd like access to my media folder for ringtones, etc.

Mine gets an error as well. I suppose this has been an issue since the first electrify phone.
