Help Using DINC2 with 07 Acura TL

So, searching a bit and not finding any info.

Phone is paired with the car I can make and place calls no problem. Here is my issue. Trying to play pandora or google play/music through the phone it isn't working?

I have a 3.5mm male/male headphone jack plug it into the AUX get pandora started and plug in to the phone. I can see the headphone icon in the status bar come on and the song will begin to play I can hear it through the phones speaker when I try to press the AUX button on the radio I get nothing. It's a dual purpose button that works the AUX and the XM radio. No luck getting it to play. The phone will usually stop playing the music and the headphone icon will flash.

Im at a loss here?

In a newer model car like that i bet you don't have a cassette deck, huh?

The cassette deck adapter works great for me no problems at all sounds great!
Sorry.

Thanks it actually does have a cassette deck  I was utterly surprised to find it had one being that its a 07 and has navigation and a 6 disk indash!

I just don't want to have any cords or wires running through the dash/console.

It has the AUX port in the center console at the bottom and I just plug it in, just can't get it to work. Bluetooth works but it isn't able to play over the radio via the bluetooth.

You mean the fm radio app on the phone?
You need a wired headset to act as the antenna when using the stock fm radio app, it won't work via Bluetooth.
You can try tune in from the market to stream live radio stations over your internet connection, Bluetooth will work work that.

That's strange how the aux and the phone don't get along line that...
The cassette adapter just has a cassette with a wire attached to it that sticks out the deck and plugs into the headphone jack of the phone...

try turning off blue tooth. maybe the phone is trying to play your music through it?

Thanks for the suggestions everyone. I thought this too Lagos, and tried it today after you suggested it. Still no result. If I get out of work early tomorrow im going to call acura and see what they suggest.

Can you switch to audio? I listen to music and internet radio and sometimes I have to switch back to audio vs phone and tuner?
