Using Touchdown Exchange for Gmail Account

Just wondering if there are any tips or suggestions for using "Touchdown" exchange in place of the Gmail account, especially to avoid getting duplicate msg alerts for new mail?

Once set up in Touchdown, should one delete the email account set-up in messaging? Also, I have a second gmail account for personal mail but for now have only setup my work account in Touchdown. Should I do the same for this account in Touchdown - Exchange?

Any other tips concerning exchange are appreciated. Thanks.

Touchdown is great for Microsoft exchange. The stock messaging client works great for gmail. I would personally not use touchdown for gmail, but that's just me.

Doesn't using Touchdown as opposed to the 'stock' mail for gmail accounts set it up for true push as opposed to polling every X minutes.... I may be wrong on this, someone please correct me if so.
