Help Vibrator dead?

My sf doesn't ever vibrate anymore. Is there a setting I can check? If that's in order I guess its pretty safe to assume that the vibrator is dead.

My screen is cracked (stopped vibrating before I dropped it and broke the glass) so I think a new/refurbished phone, under warranty, would be out of the question.

Is there anyway I can repair this by myself if it is a hardware issue?

Why would warranty be out of the question? Do you have insurance? You should be able to make a claim...
