Root [Virgin Mobile/Sprint] [Theme][VM-LS720] Purple Metallic

Flashing tonight!!! I miss theme chooser so much. Probably a dumb question but... When the updated .zip with the dialer, etc. is posted can I just flash over the (purple)old one? I haven't flashed themes since CM6.

That's actually a great question Oly. Yes you will flash right over the previous installation. Fyi, normally when flashing system apps you wipe dalvik-cache but the flash zip for my theme does it for you. That's what the android updating apps notification is about at first boot. The system is reloading the dalvik cache since it was wiped for the theme. Hope that helps jog your memory. I miss TC too. I could build a full system theme like this one in a couple of weeks. Flash themes can take months. I'm on 7 apks right now and still have more to go, to theme the whole system the way I want. It's a lot of work, don't get me wrong I love making themes any way I can. It's just TC themes are so much easier to build and install.

Glad you like the animation. Xclusive suggested I use that one...'nough said. :D

You guessed it I haven't had time to do any work on the Icon Pack. I can't say when I'll get to it either. I'm not really sure how this theme is going over with the community to tell you the truth. I'll see how it plays out over the next few weeks and let you know something about the icon pack project.

As it states on the second paragraph of the first post, as written by the author:

"Unfortunately this mod is variant specific; meaning it has been tested and does NOT work on the Metro/TM versions of the F3."

TM = T-Mobile.

Does this .zip remove qslide? I've been running this theme for a week and I just noticed it was gone. Lol! Not that I'm complaining, I'm glad it's not there to ugly up my notification drawer.

Yes it's removed. It takes up to much space in the notifiction area in my opinion.:)
 
OP has been updated with the latest version. Check the change log in the 2nd post. The Stock Theme has also been updated if you're wondering. New screenshots too.
 
I know that the stock theme needs to be reinstalled before upgrading to the modded v7. Is installing purple possible after upgrading?

The theme seems to work fine after the update except for the stock keyboard, it's borked, but no other major problem I can see. If you want to flash before I get it updated just remember you will need to use either the on-board Swype or install a 3rd-party keyboard from the Playstore for now. I'm currently working on updating it to v7 so all the apk's in the theme are the newest versions. I hope to have the updated theme ready soon a long with the LG Stock Theme...of course. Thanks for your support. :D

Cool, I'll update when you have the new version ready. There are traces of purple on my F3, like the intro screen and the wallpaper. Otherwise it's a normal F3 setup running the modded V7, minus the QSlide bar. :)
 
That's because only curtain apps were update in the new firmware. Those that didn't need it, weren't. It looks like I'll have it ready by this weekend.
