Vlingo & Google Voice Search

Couldn't get Google Voice Search to work at all - even after syncing contacts. Aside from that, after syncing contacts all contacts show two profiles and you have to select the one you want to use when calling or sending a text - one additional, unnecessary step. But really, Voice Actions just wouldn't work for me regardless.

Downloaded vlingo and it seems to work fine. Now I'd like to uninstall Google Voice, but the option is greyed out. Is there a way to uninstall it?

Phone is a Droid-X with Froyo

I think Voice Search is a stock app that can't be uninstalled.
