I'm confused. I have some images that I made sure to resize to pixel screen dimensions of the Optimus L9 (540x960), yet, when I try to use them for wallpaper, it wants to crop? I thought maybe the cropping wouldn't actually happen so I went along but sure enough, the images are cropped to what is shown on crop displaying box. Any idea or suggestions on what's going on?

The phone will always use the cropper to set wallpaper. There is an app called image 2 wallpaper you can use to set wallpaper without cropping. Its pretty simple.
