Root Want to root my metropcs huawei ascend!! Need Help!!

I would like some one to help me root my ascend from metro, this would be my first time doing it so can anyone please help!!! I would really appreciate it!!!
 
Look for z4root in Google and click on first link. Download and install. Before you root, go to settings, applications, development and ebable usb debugging.Open and choose permanent root(you will still be able to unroot).
 
When you achieve root you will be able to use wireless hotspots and use your phones internet with your laptop or xbox. You will be able to make it run faster and uninstall crapware like UNO and Midnight Bowling to increase phones memory and performance. To delete unwanted apps like those after root, you can install titanium backup from market.
 
For some Metro users, Permanent Root will not work.If permanent root doesn't work for you on Metro, the click on Temporary Root. But you will need to reroot every time you turn the phone off.

Joser, i just asked you in the other forum why you thought that, but in any case i just permanent root my ascend and im on metro and so i have had no problems. is there something in particular that i should be looking for. ill add this was my first rooting experience.
 
z4ROOT works fine on the Ascend with perm root.

Only thing we cant do yet with the ascend is Overclock it and do a custom rom. I heard its comng son though.

Perm. doesnt work for SOME users. This is why I suggested temp. but if permanent works, then go ahead and use permanent :)
 
The Ascend processor at stock speed is 528 MHz. You can overclock free with Overclock Widget and pay for Set CPU.
 
Joser I think I am going to start a new thread for rooting the Ascend for Cricket users since this is on MetroPCS.

or use Super Click v1.3, which will give your permanent Root
 
ay joser116 so if i root the huawei ascend then unroot it will the warranty still be void or will you get your warranty back?

Hi. I'm not Joser, I think he left months ago, but if you unroot I believe you will still have a warranty because there isn't a way for anyone to tell that your phone was once rooted.
