Help Website field in People does not link to browser

I originally misposted this in "Accessories" - sorry

The listing for "Website" that has been entered and synced from some of my Gmail contacts is not available as a "link" when viewing on my Droid Incredible (in People). In fact, it's not even available to copy and paste. Am I doing something wrong? If not, what's the best work around - including other apps?

Also, is there a way to prevent the Incredible from showing entries for "send message to" phone numbers from People that do not handle texting, such as land lines or business cells.

I did search for a while but didn't find any pertinent conversations...
