Help Weird soft keyboard issue...

Every now and again, if my phone has been on for a bit (like 5 hours or so), my landscape soft keyboard will just start duplicating letters and lagging like crazy. I thought, perhaps, this was due to extraneous apps being opened but it doesn't seem to ail the problem (using TasKiller); restarting the phone helps, within reason, but even then (sometimes) it still persists after a reset. Anyone else having this issue, or is there a solution I'm unaware of?

A hard reset will probably fix it. Backup your data first with one of the backup programs. e.g. MyBackup Pro

I was hoping to avoid a hard reset... bah. Thanks, though, pw-- I needed someone to confirm my worst fears for me. *grins*
