Well that didn't take long.. Dead/Stuck pixels on my brand new Triumph

Bought my Triumph on Cyber Monday. Had it in my possession for approximately four days.

Thought I might have been lucky and got one of the good Triumphs.

Then, within the last two hours or so I noticed them. :(

Two blatantly obvious white pixels that show about a centimeter apart from each other whenever the screen is black. Also a third shows up, depending on what angle you look at the screen from.
They don't show up for any other color, as least from what I have seen so far.

I guess this begins the return fiasco that I've heard other people having to do. Other than the pixels the phone seemed to be great. No other issues I have noticed, but I am also a first time android user, I haven't experienced any other android phone so I have nothing to compare to.

I just ran Pixel Fixer V2.0.0 for 20 minutes with no luck. I also ran the diagnostics test that comes on the phone.

I hope if I return this I don't get a worse brand new phone with more issues....

Phone Specs:
09JUL11
Build Version: 1010_2_039
Device Software Version: 1010_2_039
Panel Type: TRULY

Anyone else have issues with dead/stuck pixels on their triumphs? I'd like to hear your stories and the outcome.

Haha I didn't get a triumph but a few days I got a Motorola electrify and it already has dead pixels. Two to be exact and they annoy be like no other and I too am scared that when I return it that it will be even worse than the one I have know this isn't the reply you wanted I just wanted to wish you a good luck if you return it

Yes refurbished phone that had a problems lol but I'm sure it wont have any problems as they do look into them and try fixing what needs to be

A refurbished phone may not have had any issues. Sometimes they get returned and are in fine shape. Either way they are worked on to get in better working order by the company. Some people have said they had to go through a couple returns to get one they were happy with, others were happy with the first.

I recieved my replacement phone from virgin mobile today.. The date on the inside of the phone says 05/11.. The phone I currently have with the stuck pixels is 08/11.. I am nervous that I may have just recieved a worse phone.

Does anyone know of more or less problems between the 05/11 and 08/11 phones? Didn't the software change between those two dates or something?

No, the software is the same.

I have not seen any correlation between manufacturer date and how the phone works. I have noticed less complaints lately, right up until so many people got one on/around black friday. But with so many more folks getting it, you are bound to hear of more issues.
