I recently rolled back from Lollipop to 4.4.2 and rooted using Towelroot. All is well!
Now the question is - what custom recovery should I use? I've used SafeStrap in the past, and found a download for my particular model of S5, but I also noticed there is now a TWRP Manager app in the Google Play store. I've used TWRP in the past on previous phones, too, but always had to flash it via a zip file from the recovery menu...I never installed it while already in Android itself. Can anyone confirm if this actually works and is worth using?
Any other thoughts on the best custom recovery to use for saving/restoring backups and ROMs?
Thanks!
