Help Whats the differance between the boost mobile and public

How do i flash back to boost in accidentally went to public?

I was trying to un-root my boost mobile phone and i saw this thread to un-root, didnt notice it was for public mobile. Its the stock rom for public. Now i cant get clockwork mod so i can flash back to boost mobile....

I tried that. Because i flashed to the public mobile rom there is no longer clockwork mod on the phone. And apparently they do not offer a way to get it besides using command prompt.

Can't you just flash the boost nOOb rom? That has cwm and everything and you do it from stock recovery. Don't do this until confirmed by Mr. Bobo.

Been trying to follow this issue across the various threads it spans...what is the issue with using command prompt? No pc or data cable?

When i try to install clockwork mod using command prompt as described in the public mobile thread. I get to adb reboot bootloader....it then tell me 'adb' is not recognized as an internal folder or external command,operable program or batch file.

Ok...assuming you installed the sdk...did you set windows path to the tools directory?

Basically you either need to be in the directory containing adb.executive or have it as part of your path...which I thought was tools. Can't confirm though since I'm not near a pc now lol. If in command prompt type did...if adb isn't listed its the wrong folder

well till now i thought i did, but its saying sdk wont install because of jdk,which i know i installed.

Is jdk up to date? Also I'd get android sdk direct from android dev site...

The difference between public mobile and boost mobile as far as fastboot and adb goes there is none. However we(public Mobile users) are are on a newer build. when you flashed the back to stock rom for public, you inadvertently flashed a firmware update you guys don't have yet. I sent you a custom recovery installer that is supposed to work with stock recovery yesterday... Did it work? Do you guys have a stockboost mobile rom somewhere that contains the following files?: adsp.mbn, amss.mbn, dbl.mbn, EMMCBOOT.MBN, osbl.mbn. If you don't find a way to restore these files back to the boost mobile version, you will have issues with scaling unless you use one of our boot.img with the updated ramdisk. For everyones information, the fixes we have in our newer build are flashlight app(Flashlight+led) works and if you unlock the tether menu in our rom the wifi hotspot works as well...
