General whats this status bar icon?

    I notice an icon that looks like a sideways L, a back slash and a box, stacked in that order between the Bluetooth and the 3G icons, what is it?

    That icon means that your phone speaker is mute.

    Nope, the mute icon comes up next to that but this one the 3 pieces of the icon are not connected to each other...

    The icon you are describing is a musical note with a slash through it. It appears for me when I reduce my ringer volume to no green bar which is silent. If I reduce the volume one more press of the volume key / rocker the icon changes to a tilted rectangle / sideways box with small lines on either side representing vibrate only mode and the phone vibrates.
