Help Where can I find the wallpaper File??

Hello,
I've accidently deleted a picture (was saved on the sdcard) that i love alot on my htc magic, after i've set it as a wallpaper, does any one know if the android copies the file to a certain directory on the phone memory??? if yes please specify. or is there a certain android application to recover deleted files from the sdcard???
