Help wont link my contacts

HI got htc wildfire s for xmas. managed to link all my contacts to their facebook profile and pic except my other halfs. i can find him and it links him but when i text him it comes up as his number and a blank pic.tried everything so maybe someone in here can help as its annoying. everyone else i text comes up with their name and a pic of who they are but his is always blank with his actual number, seems a little trivial to some people but i want it to work so its bothering me xx
