Help Would like to display my laptop screen to my tv.

I Would like to display my laptop screen to my tv without HDMI cable.

Following is my laptop specification, LENOVO G450 and my TV is sony bravia with inbuilt wifi.

I know that windows 8 does support external wireless display.

The question is if I can do it with my laptop with windows 7.

Any help will be appreciated!!

This is an Android forum, and you are asking a Windows question.
You will probably have much better luck asking in a Windows forum.

I would suggest buying a Chromecast for $35 if what you want to display is in your browser:
http://www.google.com/chrome/devices/chromecast/

It will work from any device running Chrome with a Wi-Fi connection (phone, tablet, laptop, desktop, etc) into whatever TV you put the dongle. Super cheap, super simple, and should get the job done. If you're wanting to display your desktop there are similar dongles that should do the trick, but I can't give personal input on those.
