There are some channels that I'm subscribed to that publish too many shorts, and I get a notification every time. Annoying. Is there a way to opt out of that? I'd still like the full video notifications.

no there is no setting to avoid short video notifications. i would recommend that you unsubscribe to a channel or at least opt out of notifications. if you continue to watch the channel's video, the channel will still show up on your youtube feed. if you watch a particular channel more often, that channel should always show up first. i subscribe to so many channels that i just keep youtube's overall notifications turned off. i just open youtube and the channels i watch most will show up first. i go on youtube quite regularly so i do not need to be notified, especially if you have channels that are consistent with when they upload their videos. There are some channels that I'm subscribed to that publish too many shorts, and I get a notification every time. Good points, I think what I'll do is turn off notifications from the channels that are bugging me, and just check in on the 'subscriptions' page from time to time (I've never had overall notifications turned on, way too annoying in general). And as you say, if I watch enough of them they'll be in my feed anyway.no there is no setting to avoid short video notifications. i would recommend that you unsubscribe to a channel or at least opt out of notifications. if you continue to watch the channel's video, the channel will still show up on your youtube feed. if you watch a particular channel more often, that channel should always show up first. i subscribe to so many channels that i just keep youtube's overall notifications turned off. i just open youtube and the channels i watch most will show up first. i go on youtube quite regularly so i do not need to be notified, especially if you have channels that are consistent with when they upload their videos.
