Crackberry To A Droid...what have I done??

I have been a dedicated Blackberry addict for a few years. My last two Blackberry's were the Curve and Storm. I gave the Storm a year to improve and even though v5 was a big upgrade it still has a lot of problems, and I find that their going to the Storm 2 in less than a year of introducing my Storm was a slap in the face.

At the recommendation of many friends from within Verizon Wireless, where I worked in C.S. for 2-1/2 years, I just broke down and ordered my new Motorola Droid. It should be arriving on Wednesday, Nov. 18 - almost exactly a year since I waited in 20 degree weather for 2 hours waiting for the Storm.

So, although I don't work for VZW anymore I still have a lot of good connections to those who do and not one has said anything bad about the VZW Droids. I'm told the biggest thing I will miss is BBM. Oh well, I will still have MMS/SMS and email.

I hope to be an active participant on here once I get my Droid on Wednesday night.

And, greetings from Lancaster, PA. - no I'm not Amish either - my favorite mode of transportation is in my username - I have a 2008 Kawasaki Vulcan 1600 motorcycle. I also LOVE the Pittsburgh Steelers and Penguins. Lastly, I'm probably older than you think. I could very possibly be your Dad.
