Help Poor Bluetooth reception?

Is anyone else experiencing poor Bluetooth reception?

Have my wireless bluetooth headset that I love so much. On my Samsung I could walk two rooms away and it would be fine.

On my EVO I get constant reception problems. If I step more than 5 feet from the phone its awful. Even walking around with the phone in my pocket its just awful.

What the hell is the deal with the EVO and its reception problems?

Yeah my reception with BT sux I can have my headset in my left ear and my phone on my right hip and i get alot of static

I just bought the Evo and previously had a Samsung Instinct. I have blue tooth in my car and never had problems with the Instinct. With the Evo the blue tooth works if I am dialing the call, if I am receiving I have to pick up the cell phone to answer because it considers the microphone as mute. Has anyone had this problem? Please help.

UNDER BLUETOOTH make sure phone audio is turned on, I believe you need to long click on the paired device for options. Should fix this problem.

Are you trying to answer the call from the headset or are you answering from the phone and can't hear from the headset?

MINE IS UNUSABLE. Unless i'm sitting still and the phone is less then 5 feet away my Motorola S9 headphone CLIP in and out constantly, sometimes they just go blank for 5-10 seconds. I know the headphones work great because their BRAND-NEW and I tried them on my fiance's phone (yes I unpaired them and I tried them after this issue). Also earlier in the day I watched a 30minute movie with no issues since the phone was right next to it and didn't move and neither did I.

I have a strange feeling these are causing my issues... i'm trying to find out what they are. I'm thinking repeaters for the local sheriff radios or even a wi-fi network for their/city workers computers?
