not really.
if you do something ******ed and pull the battery why flashing the recovery partition then maybe.

im clearly an knowledgeable member...i wouldnt post anything harmful.

i just did this for someone on the eris via team viewer and it worked fine. its WELL tested. if someone wants me to do it for their INC pm me and ill show you how to setup teamviewer and ill do it.

I have a question for you regarding the Eris side of this. I want to root my girlfriend's Eris, so I can overclock it and run a custom ROM. She loves the phone, but it's slow as dog shit, and I told her I might be able to fix that for her.

Here's the problem. I installed the first leaked 2.1 OTA, so my question is, is this method working for leakers or just everyone else?
