Word is that Europe could be seeing an EVO-like device that so far has been known as the HTC Ace, but new rumors are suggesting the Ace could end up being the Desire HD, a phone that would take the hot as fire Desire brand and catapult it to a new level. Some rumored specs [...]

I really hope the make it 3,5" to 4", not 4,3". Why would they introduce a new EVO already? But give me an aluminium body Desire and I'm sold :)

Because this phone is for Europe and the Evo is only avaliable in the states.

The closest we get to the Evo in the UK is the HTC HD2 and thats a Win mob device, so this new phone will a welcome addition to the Android handsets we already have here in the UK.

I think they should do a 4.3'' screen. The looks of the EVO are perfect IMO, best looking phone out there, with its screen practically covering the entire front of the device. I have a Samsung Galaxy S, and its 4.0'' screen is at the lower end of what I consider acceptable for web browsing.

Interesting comment on screen size Nuukeer. Especially since you now have the Galaxy S with its 4" screen.
I've been considering getting the Galaxy S rather than other great devices (HTC) because, except for the EVO, the HTC's screens are 3.5-3.7".
I love the looks of the EVO and was also strongly considering getting the EVO until I discovered it's not a GSM capable device, and has no SIM card slot. It's been designed for and sent off to the U.S.......leaving all of us in the rest of the world wondering 'WTF?' Rumors have it that HTC will offer a model similar to the EVO for all the rest of us who live outside the U.S., but right now it's just a rumor.
As of now IMHO...I think a 4" screen would be optimum, all things considered, but you seem to want more. Why?

From what I'm hearing, HTC is the preferred choice of many over Samsung. So, would you care to comment on your experience with your Samsung Galaxy S? That's not a slam on your Samsung, just wanting some valid, honest (owner/user) feedback. I'm a new member but an Android lover...so please go easy on me,ok?
