This is a pain in the ass, because pretty much every time I remove anything I have to NANDroid reboot my phone to get some functionality back. I keep removing less and less and still face the same problem. Has anyone removed things and maintained full functionality?
I've noticed that also when I use a startup manager, sometimes disabling certain apps will keep the market from working. I haven't troubleshot this down to specifics yet, though if anyone has, I'd appreciate any insight to save me some time...
